Rules & Regulations
- Submit a “before” and “after” photo with a “during” video.
- The video must include a voiceover describing your formulation, the FASTFOILS formats used, your story on how FASTFOILS would/could improve your timing or results, celebrate how FASTFOILS can change your life behind the chair, and what you could do with the time you gain by using high-performance foils with every service.
- Entrants must be a licensed hairstylist.
- Multiple submissions are allowed. Each submission must be a unique look.
- MUST use FASTFOILS Products.
- Entrants must reside in the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec)
- Entry can be published prior to entry, and can be submitted to other regional, national or international competitions
- We strongly encourage entrants to embrace diversity, equity and inclusion by working with team members and models who represent varied backgrounds, race, ethnicity, gender, identity, age, religion, and size.
- Avoid photographic filters and other special effects as they distract from your work.
- Photo editing cannot be used to create, enhance, or manipulate styled hair/makeup that was not present in the unedited images.
- The right and license to use names and images, and to publicly display, distribute, edit, transmit, reproduce and create derivative works using the images, in whole or in part, in any media or format.
- A high res (image size: over 1,000 pixels width and height, 300 dpi) version of your entry must be available for publication or your winning image may not appear in Salon Magazine.
Submission Instructions
- Entry is free of charge. Sample packs are available local distributors and on the FASTFOILS website
- Create a profile to verify your license
- Upload your files at [enter location/wording for section where people will upload their files] (verification may take upto 24 hours).
- Photos and videos on social media (Instagram or TikTok) using hashtags #fastfoilscontest and tag @fastfoils, @salonevo and @socialarthouse.
Submission Entry Dates
- Submission open October 1 and close November 18, 2024
- Winner will be announced November 25, 2024
FAST TIPS
- Keep images simple. They should be polished, clean, and executed with passion for your craft.
- The photo does not need to be exclusive to this competition. It can be taken on your phone in the salon, previously published, or entered in another competition.
